I remember back in the mid 2000s when Leonard and I moved in together, and we bought a washer and dryer together, and I was like OMG we have bought durable goods together, this is the first relationship where I have ever done this. And the agitation in the washer was "Calypso Wash Motion" which sounded really nice. I think there may have been an "I'm finished" song. Memories! Also memories of the convenience of having laundry within our own unit, which we've never had again.
