Pillows went on sale around when I was starting this so I could buy around half a cubic metre worth of pillows for $10, so I replaced some flattened pillows my sister and I have and have been slowly taking the (polyester?) stuffing out of the old ones, fluffing it back up, then putting it into the toys.
